Well Bruce Rock has been and gone for another year, and as usuall what a great week end it was. There were no disasters and everything went quite smoothly.
The new kitchen and club rooms were completed and in use and they have done an excellent job with the rebuilding, every other small town in WA should go and have a look to see just what can be done.
The meals provided were excellent once again, and I noticed this year that manning the bar b ques were the volunteers from FESA, so thank you to every one at Bruce Rock who helped in any way with the weekend, with the late nights and very early mornings I wondered when they managed to sleep, perhaps they manage to catch up this week!
The Bus trip went without a hitch and everyone on it enjoyed the ride. Some members went in their cars, and some took their own accomodation with them, and joined the hundreds of vans on the oval.
If you have a look on the photo album page you will find 4 albums with photos, if you find a photo you like just copy it to your computer but please do not use them on any other internet site without permission from the owner who can be contacted at challengebrassband@gmail.com thank you.
To the members of the Challenge Brass Band, the Goldfields Brass Band, our 7 ringins, and the Band masters Lindsay and Keith and our Deputy Bruce, and to the bus drivers from Perth and Kalgoorlie we thank you all for a great weekend, and look forward to next year.
